Is Nexus 7 worth it?

I have been throwing around the idea of a tablet in my head for the past couple days. I'm trying to figure out if I will enjoy it and if its worth it for me personally. Now I have a sufficient laptop as well as an Iphone 4s. I obviously do not have a NEED for the nexus, but I work a ridiculous amount of hours and feel like buying something for myself. Those with the Nexus, will i regret the purchase?

Yes. Totally. It's not even expensive. I use mine every day. It's sitting next to me charging in my officer right now. Actually, I use my Nexus more often than my Lexus.

Its kinda a weird median of usage, I dont think the tablet game is where it needs to be yet, neither are cell phones, but theyre getting pretty close. I have a kindle fire and its useful in very few situations. My SIII is equally as powerful just smaller and my MBP is more efficient but bigger.

i like the thing. easier than a laptop, portable, small, and i like the android layout and os.

My roommate has one along with a galaxy nexus, which I also have. He has the same OS loaded to both so using the tablet is really easy and I enjoy it. I'd eliminate my laptop if I didnt use it for business purposes.

In addition to my original post, id say wait for the next gen or the gen after to pick one up. That shouldnt take to long cause they develop new products quarterly

Love mine. They're dirt cheap at the moment as well so really, it's a no brainer.

See I think the Nexus occupies the tablet space in  between phone and laptop better than the Ipad to the point where you have 3 tools - phone which you take everywhere, nexus which you take with you when you have a bag (i.e. most places but not, say, the bar) and laptop which you only take with you if you're going on a trip or working. My laptop almost never leaves my house now except in those two scenarios but I still definitely feel like I need a laptop and would even if I weren't working; I use it at home.

Yes a laptop is definitely necessary, I can't see any tablet replacing it for now. Having a tablet is so useful though

fluid, easy to use, modify etc

for a 250$ tablet, im more than happy !

fuck that tablet. buy a laser from me! 200 bucks its worth every pennie. ill offer a battery wall charger and some safty glasses for a extra 20 bucks. thatway you can light joints with it!
