It's always weird seeing the next year in dates

Seeing /13 all over is just kind of creepy. It always takes you a while to get used to it. Like that first week in school where you right the wrong year down on everything.


They should ease into it.

Saw that and was like WTF is with all this 13 shit. Still can't believe we're in 2012.


At the same time the earth is going to explode and nobody will live to see everything switch over to 13, how unlucky.

haha, i used to have that problem in school right after the new year. old habits die hard. it's a little different for me now though. Our fiscal calendar at work actually begins in October, so I'm already writing FY13 on things. So by the time the new year comes along I'm all good and adapted.

Damn. I'm gonna start practicing. I'[m just going to right 2013 on everything from now on so by the time it changes it makes sense to me.

It makes me feel old. I can't even imagine being actually old. You look back on shit like 07 and it was yesterday but it was actually over 5 years ago.


Crazy shit. I think the year changing makes me feel older than birthdays. Birthdays don't really shake it up much for me.

I think school keeps things moving in a much more manageable pace. The year sort of drags on, you get your breaks you get your summer. The summer seems to fly by. I think maybe if you take the structure out of life it no longer drags a long. Even this year for me, it was march and I blinked and now it's the middle of november.


There's snow at my house again. It's crazy.

Its kind of a crazy idea huh? its pretty much just us counting how many times we have rotated around the sun. Pretty good excuse to get drunk I'd say.
