Cannot quote posts that are video only.

I find I can never quote someone when they post only video, because there is no text. So that kid is shit out of luck with responses to a possibly epic video. And how is anyone else supposed to know how epic it was when they see it wasn't quoted a single other time in the thread? Actually watch the video? No, you know you don't check out a vid in NSG unless its been quoted at least three times.

the common work around is a period or a one line sentence so that you can quote it or "asdfasf"

I would like it too, but not the ability to quote the embed code with it. Threads with lots of embeds take FOREVER to load, so if a video was epic and quoted a few times it'd be a nightmare. Is there a way to designate [video] or some filler text when an embed only post is quoted?

Such as:

[video quote]

would be simple to understand.

yeah adding a period works, however it may not really let newcomers know what youre quoting exactly.

but i agree that too many embeds is the WORST, so maybe if the title automatically came up in text as it does from vimeo videos? not sure how complicated that is
