I love the dimensions and reviews seem great, but the only problem that I can see is that they could potentially be too stiff. Compared to, say, Punx, how stiff are these?

They are much stiffer than the punx, but the rocker compensates for the stiffness and adds a good amount of playfulness.
I've never ridden them before but that's the general consensus on the Filthy Rich.

They're not that stiff at all, I can butter them with absolutely no problem. They're stiff/stable underfoot, but the rocker in the tip and tail gives them a nice soft butter zone with some space for forgiveness. Just an all around awesome ski.

Yeah i just got myself a pair and they are the shit, the early rise and rocker tip and tail make sure you can butter for days and camber underfoot makes sure they can pop forever too, get yourself a pair.

Also the flex going from the 181 to the 186 changes a bit. The extra 5 cm makes the 186 pretty soft in the tip and tail. But the ski is very stiff under foot but as you progress either way it gradually gets softer until it's like a medium flex, very nice.

My filthys flex soft by hand. But ski with a medium feel, but at the same time feel playful and fun.

Can anybody compare the flex on them to either the line chronics or the afterbangs?

Softer than Chronics (but only slightly), stiffer than abangs (by a good bit). Not noodles, but still very fun.
