Alpine Replay is a good app that keeps track of how many runs you took, what mountain you were at when you took those runs, and what trails you took those runs on. It also keeps track of cool statistics like time spent on lift, time spent on mountain, total distance, max speed, average speed, and even calories burned haha
If you live in Utah SkiUtah app is pretty dope, it has snow reports weather forecasts trail maps and webcams for all the ski resorts in Utah, also records the days you hit the mountain
do you guys get cell service out west at the mtn's? I've found the majority of east coast mtns, especially in VT have no service of any kind rendering most apps useless that require the internet.
I really like the Salomon freeski app, it makes you create a account to you can see other skiiers who have the app around you. It also lets you check forecasts/powder and how much snow a resort has gotten + every condition possible. It has freeski TV on it when you get bored as well! Great app, its free 2 so check it out.
my tp freeskiing 2 is like a version of shresauce but you can go in career mode and there are a bunch of different mountains...havent got around to the 2.5 version, the 2nd one is fine for me
the best ski app for the back country is Google Maps (using topo view). If you make the map offline you can use it without service. App has kept me from getting lost on several occasions and is great for route finding when your setting a new skin track.
H Stew, Tshombe with Navionics here. Another person asked a similar question about ski apps and I posted this track from the Navionics Ski App I ran a couple of weeks ago. Let me know if you have any questions about it.
