IPhone wooden cases

I stumbled across a webpage for wooden iPhone cases. (The old fashioned stumbled just clicking around the internet, not stumbleupon) I was wondering if anyone on NS has a wooden case and can give me some personal reviews. It looks like theres a ton but they are all like $70+. I dont wanna spend that much but I still wanna be able to protect the phone.

I got a bamboo one off of ebay for $15. It looks awesome, but after dropping it a few times, it has started to crack where it was laminated together. For the $15 I spent, the wood case is totally worth it. However, I'm not too sure that a $70 one would be if it cracked as much as mine does.

Hmm... Havnt even though about checking Amazon/ebay. I wanna find a case that has somewhat of a bumper on the front so if I drop it face down it is mildly protected.

Dont wanna waste money for expensive case cause I dont know anything about the case and want to make sure its protective and decent, not just wooden before I spend lots of money. Could buy lifeproof case for same price and then my phone will be indestructible but would rather buy wooden cause it slides in and out of pocket nicely and looks fancy. #ifyouhavenothingnicetosayfuckoff #longhashtag #hashtagswheretheyshouldntbe

I've got a Material 6 South American Rosewood replacement back for my iPhone and love it. I know it's not a case, but it's still wood. Looks so clean and get compliments all the time.

Depends on the choice of wood.

Also completely handcrafted in the Netherlands by expert woodworkers.

Just get it, it's the best and you shouldn't settle for less.

wow i would love one of these cases but i paid $200 for my iphone so dropping $175 on a case seems slightly frivolous

handcrafted? the camera hole looks more cnc milled. but i don't know anything, it really could be handcrafted. if it really is, that's some fine handcrafting

i made this phone stand a few weeks ago. it's my first one so it's not too smoothed out

ya like they said above, amazon. eimolife makes some pretty quality cases on there for like $20-$30. think i'm gonna order the two tone mahogany and bamboo one for my 4s

i bought a bamboo case a month ago. it looked sick as fuck until i dropped it 2 days after i got it and it snapped in half. but its all good the company is sending me another one for free and it should be here tomorrow actually haha. and whats nice about it is that it's not a two peice case, its all one peice.

Google "Root Bamboo iPhone case" its not very hard to find. Theres a bunch of different woods on their website that all look sick. Honestly, i wouldnt suggest bamboo though. It was like $43 with shipping when i bought it

Even though they used a router, it still fits the modern term for "handmade".

I would recommend steering away from wooden cases. I had one and after the first time I dropped it the case crack and from there it just began to fall apart.
