the center mount days are over... people are starting to realize it effects the skis performance (henrik, and clayton to name a few... not that this should influence your decision) and are mounting skis 1-2 cm back.
This is because it just makes more sense. When you're skiing, you want your shins against the front of your boots. The same thing applies to skiing switch. It gives you more control over the ski and you honestly will barley feel a difference.
