hey im interested in moving to nz any locals or people that have done this before i would appreciate some help haha ,im 21 and from Ontario Canada im looking to get in at a ski school or something with a resort that has staff housing , how early should i apply ? what resorts are the best ? thanks !

No resorts have staff housing. Applications start in January i believe or maybe February. I think you have 2 options, Cardrona over in Wanaka or the Remarkables in QT. Both have awesome parks, Cardona has bigger jumps and a halfpipe. But its only 40mins to Cardrona and Snow Park from Queenstown anyway. I live in QT and work up at Remarks in the winter. I prefer QT cause there is more going on, the park has a better atmosphere and the nightlife in QT is almost uncomparable to Wanaka's.

i prefer wanaka, you'll get to know way more people being out and about. it's rad.
cardrona hires the most ski instructors out of any of the resorts but they tend to only choose people who are high qualifications or have done an instructor course with them
snow park hired 2 instructors this year so thats pretty much a write off
if you just want something to pay the bills liftys at cardies is such a fun job, so many ride breaks and the managers are super chill
