Cork 7 halp(trampoline)

I have been having this problem of throwing the cork too much with my trailing shoulder and it goes into a misty. Anyone ever had the same problem?

That hurt to watch, maybe don't film in portrait next time! I had the same problem, you just need to focus on spinning more, and not drop your shoulder down so much.

it's borderline cork and inverted. don't worry too much about the name of the spin, just focus on being comfortable doing it and consistently landing it. Once you get it on snow, start tweaking it to make it better.

Yeah, the season will start in probably a month or so here, how hard do you think it is to get down on skis after tramp if you are comfortable with it on tramp?

You're mistying too early. You need to arch your back and look back over your shoulder at the trampoline behind you. THEN once you are facing backwards and opened up you can basically throw a misty 5 from there.

I have never tried taking spins from tramp to skis, so I can't really speak for that. I've always just done it on skis first. You have the rotation down for sure, and you look like you'd be able to put it to your feet. It took me 20+ tries of falling on snow to finally land one for me. I kept on landing on my side because I was not setting to go off axis enough. The more I set to go off axis, the easier it came around.

first you need to learn how to jump on the tramp and not flail your arms like a fucking panzy

I used to be able to cork 7 every time I tried it on the tramp but now sometimes I open up too early and land on my knees help please

something that will help you a bit on the tramp in general is to keep your head up a bit more and not stare at your feet!

stop flipping.
open up your shoulders and hips
you're tucking which you don't do for a cork
lay it out before putting any torque into it, then just spin. if you pull your knees in at all you'll flip out of it, making it something other than a cork

180 followed by a misty 5 is a good start if you can do misties

i throw my corks like a backflip so that i do a 180 and my stomach is towards the tramp/snow and then just roll over into a misty 5

Thanks people ill try 180 misty idea. I think the problem is im somehow scared to go backwards and then i tuck up. Btw what do you need to do to not travel backwards on backflips cause i get that when i try too lay them out

Just make sure you jump before the trick. Think JUMP, then backflip

Looked the exact same, still a cork 7. I would start with safety/mute, you cant really do any tail/blunt grabs unless you are on snow.

Ok, thanks. i just thought this was a bit better because i went more like straight backward instead of misty-style. I also tried to grab with my leading hand or smth, you cant really see it though.

not gonna lie, i remember you from momentum, and you weren't all that great at tramping haha. i remember you going like 3 feet off the tramp max, not having great air control yourself, and only ever throwing misty fives. But hey, who am i to call you out on that shit?

just try to get less inverted, what i do is just try to do a regular spin in the same direction. I cant even do regular spins over a 540 anymore i just get corked lol

also, try doing it in steps.

- bounce at a height that you are comfortable with and will not limit your spin for the cork
- try doing a 180 to stomach drop
- 270 to stomach drop
- getting comfortable with the above, go to your back instead of to your stomach
- once you land on your back roll over the shoulder you originally span over to continue up to your feet
- take the whole thing to air when your comfortable.
when i first learned corks, i did a superman 270 to misty 450 ish. this helped with air control and sense.
