all this crap like freeipods, etc etc......... Its repulsive, a dirty way of advertising, and I think these sigs should be banned. Any other opinions?

as much as I am invovled with it, I will never put it in my signiture. However, sigs are for people to decide. if CKO or someone else high up decides it's bad, then something will be done. but it's all a personal thing.

idk, it's not really free advertising in the sense that someone wants an ipod. it's a definite gray area though.

its not obstructing anything, if someone posts in normal threads shamelessly plugging their free ipod link without any real comment on whatever the threads on, thats annoying advertising. on the other hand if its just in a signature, it really shouldnt bother anyone, and if seeing a little blue line with the words free and ipod in it really bothers you...
