Halloween Cancelled

At some school, the school board voted to cancel Halloween. This is bullshit. Although I havent gone out on halloween in a few years, it means a lot to a lot of kids.

damn thats bullshit i was hearing this stuff on the news with some old lady talking on there about how it is bad for the kids to be dressed up and have it interfear or some of this crap, they probably think it gives kids ideas to practice witch craft and crap

Anyways, this one year, my school cancelled Christmas. It sucked at first, because everyone was mad they wouldn't get their gifts or eat turkey dinner, but we got used to the idea after a while.

^Hell no. Up here, the private schools can't afford to pay teachers the salaries they get at public schools. Thus, public schools get better teachers (though usually far inferior resources). If a teacher from Canada wants to make real money, they'd better get a passport...

It's different here, at least for Catholic schools. we get a lot of good teachers that agree to get paid less so they can teach in a private school, but we also have alumni that come back to teach. A lot of the public school teachers are brain dead, and get paid much more.

But, really cancel Halloween....because they're are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many wiccan kids in elementary school.

yea I know some kids in Puyallup but they graduated last year but I really do think that cancelling halloween is some bullshit.. if costumes fit school dress code, they can't do shit... and if people suddenly decide to bring cookies to class, there's nothing they can do anything about that either... schools can't cancell halloween, it's impossible...
