Personally, I thought the movie was a little long, however other than that it was exceptional. Specifically, what I found most interesting was the veterans of the 10th mountain division who skied during the world war. It was an exceptional premiere.

Did anyone else see it, was it better than warren millers prior movie?
What is another ski film worth buying?

Where'd you see the flick at. I also though it was pretty good, usually i watch the level 1 movies but a change was necessary. The world war II part was awesome and the urban at the end.

Honestly why i have no attended a Warren Miller Entertainment movie or purchased any of their movie. I remember when that all took place and I was extremely pissed off about that.

WME pretty much stripped warrens voice from the man himself and have taken it their own way which I have very little respect for.

I saw this movie and it was a huge let down, not that I expected it to be all park or anything but it was ridiculous how everyone's story was just the classic "i love skiing, ive been skiing since i was two, i love turns" and then it was hours of turns followed by 5 minutes of park and i almost felt like i was watching a trailer when i saw the park segment because they didn't even show half of the landings. for example (i think) russ henshaws tripple at joi was shown and cut just as he was about to land....last wme movie i see

Eh the movie was pretty tame but what did you expect. Enjoyed Chris Davenport's seg as well as Julian Carr's. My ticket was free and at least in Utah you get a free Canyons day pass for attending so that was good enough for me.

because they sued Level 1 a few years back? That was great, using warren to commentate for Refresh was so prime

Yeah I saw it in the Victoria Premiere, first time in 30 years or so has WME been in Victoria hopefully more companies will have shows here.

If you go in expecting a level 1 or pbp movie you will be let down. If you go in expecting a typical wm movie you're in for a little treat. It was a lot more enjoyable than most years

I saw it tonight, and I was impressed for a WM movie. Lots of heliskiing, which got me extra stoked! It wasn't all too bad. I'll be watching it again in December in another town as well, not regretting that decision.

I freaking loved it! I agree the part with the army skiers was freakin cool! It got me super pumped. Havent missed a warren miller movie in 8 years.

im bummed out that i missed the premier in hartford this year. im not a big fan of WME stuff for obvious reasons, but going to the premier is always so much fun and gets me hyped for the ski season. nothing like being in a room full of every kind of skier all getting pumped together.

Saw it last night. Typically I'm a big PBP or Level 1 fan. I know the whole lawsuit thing, but I went because my buddy was paying so I couldn't object to that. I wasn't too let down. The biggest thing that I enjoyed was the fact that it was able to capture the essence of skiing as a lifestyle, not just as something that you do for fun on the weekends. People create their lives around the sport in racing, big mountain, park, etc. Very cool to see the army side of it with the 10 brigade I think is what it was called.


However, they did show way too many turns and cut out a lot of the park. Which was for me very disappointing. But overall it was my first warren miller movie so I went in not knowing what to expect anyways.

Not a big WME fan because of the dispute but i look at their movies as more of a travel log than just slaying pow and urban. They're not awful movies and they always give out lift tickets if you go to premiers

I agree with you 100%, first WMM iv'e seen too, and the army side of skiing with the 10th mountain division was very interesting and cool.
