There is going to be a rail jam at the Woods Valley base area from 11am-3pm this upcoming Sunday!
They wanted to test a new snowmaking installation this week and now are putting on the event. It is FREE for riders, however, donations are accepted for hurricane Sandy relief.
Here is the original Facebook post:
RAIL JAM – SUNDAY, NOV 11 – 11am to 3pm. Make plans to join us for a “Party with a Purpose” this Sunday at Woods Valley. Admission will be free but we would like to take donations for Super Storm Sandy Relief Efforts. You can give any amount (zero is OK too if that’s your budget). All donations we collect will be sent to the Red Cross. All participants will need to sign in and get a ticket (no cost). If you already have your pass – that can serve as your ticket. Check back for more details tomorrow regarding the features we will have on the snow. Please note – the cover is patchy but the sun will be shining.
