I just sent him a message asking how long it lasts, I'll let you know when he tells me what's up. The benefits are that it completely protects the paint from chips, scratches and general shit. You can peel it off with your bare hands in minutes too if you get sick of it or just robbed a bank, so if you go to sell the car you don't have to find someone to buy it as a crazy color combo either, and the paint would be tits when you peel it off.
The texture is really cool too, like a satin. He also has been doing the satin clear or smoke tint on a lot of lights too from that I understand. Touch ups are a piece of cake and it's an easy and fast way to get a huge visual impact in just one day's turnaround. That 650 was bone stock at the beginning of the day, and looked fkn insane when the guy came back to pick it up. That's pretty cool if you ask me.
Basically it looks really cool, protects the paint and is a less expensive and non permanent way to spice up your garage life- without doing anything stupid that will detract from the value of your vehicle or narrow the field of perspective buyers at selling time.
