Where to Mount 2013 ON3P JERONIMO

I need help really quick I need to get these mounted asap. I have 2013 ON3P JERONIMO's and I am mounting FKS 140's on them. I will be riding them 65% park and 35% all mountain. I really need some input quickly hopefully you guys can help.

My new Billygoats had a little stamp on the sidewall for recommended. I talked to ON3P and they said the recommended. Thats where mine will be mounted.

Consensus seems to be recommended. I asked the same question about a month ago, and I've also seen it thrown around a fair bit since then. I'm on the 181cm's for the record.

I want the most versitle ski possible, so I'll likely go recommended or 1cm forward of that. If you're actually skiing 65% park like you plan to, it might be worth going a bit further forward. You need to weigh the pros and cons of having a little more tail to work with vs. slighlty less all mountain performance. Also, like Rowen said, it'd be worthwhile to mention which size you're talking about.

I have the same question but for the 186's, mine just came in the mail today. I ride park probably 30% of the time absolute max but like my skis center mounted or damn near it in general. Even my 189 Obsethed's are just two cms back of center. The recommended line on my Jeronimos seems pretty damned far back to me, I'm leaning towards mounting them 2 cms back of true center. Any thoughts?

I have 2011 mounted at recommended and the shred fucking everything such a sick ski. May up to the jeffery in a couple of year though

Our team dead centers J-mos for the most part. Recommended line of the 186's is -4cm back from true center, for both Jeffreys and J-mo's in that size. I'd go:


-4 (recommended) for all mountain
-2 for a 50/50 mix of park/all mountain
-0 (dead center) for park

Just got them in the mail too...im thinking like -1.5 from center? probably like 50/50 park all mountain, im going to TRY and not hit rails cuz there just soo nice (and expensive) so does 1.5 sound ok?

I'm mounting mine dead center, but I'm probably using them 85% park, 15% all mountain (I'm planning on using my Jefferys more for all mountain). For 65/35 I'd probably go with either -1.5 or -2. I honestly wouldn't mount them at recommended unless I planned on them never even entering a park, -4 just seems so far back now a days, haha.

I got my jmos dead center, I was thinking about at least -2 but I'm used to all my skis being dead center even though I ski more all mountain. Do my advice is mount it where it's going to be comfortable for you.

I'm not worried about it, I've been riding skis at dead center for years now, whether or not they're symmetrical, in fact my Jefferys are the first ski I've mounted at any where other than center in probably 5 seasons (and I even debated with those, but they're pretty much never gonna touch a rail, so I went with recommended). I've never really noticed that much of a difference in ridability. Sometimes it seems awkward at first, but then you get used to it and they become really fun. I mean in theory, the best place they're gonna turn is recommended, so if you're thinking -1.5 or -2 they're already not gonna be at the ideal turning point so putting them at dead center isn't gonna make that much more of a difference, but that's just my thoughts on it (others differ).

true true, iv been riding center park skis for 2 years now so idk how it would feel mounted otherwise

Might be something to consider trying out on what you want to use as an all mountain ski. 90% or more of the time I'm riding on a Jeffrey, I'm going forwards, and -4 isnt so far back to put the ski off balance that wildly to effect spinning.

Let me put it another way, when I'm skiing switch, -4 mount feels pretty similar to a dead center mount, I dont notice that much of a difference. When I'm charging a line or skiing through trees and pow, I want -4, not dead center. I go for recommended just because its best for my skiing style and where I want my ski to perform best. Obviously, for a cat like Vincent Charette who skis his Jeffreys on pretty much anything, its a different story. Use the advice here to sort of gauge where you are on the scale and what you'll be doing on this ski most / what you want it to do well, mount accordingly.

yeah man i have 182 ON3P JERONIMOS too, except they're last years that were on sale, i'm putting them -1 for mostly park but some all mtn as well. ON3P JERONIMOS
