Not sure what you mean by bass (maybe drumandbass?) but anyways:
drum and bass: 160-180 beats per minute, and obviously lots of drums and bass. Ex:
house: 128-130 beats per minute. lots of electronic based synths and that "pumping" feel.
ex:
dubstep: About 140 beats per minute, at half tempo, meaning it sounds more like 70 beats per minute. A lot of womps and wobbles, but there is dubstep that doesn't sound like robots fucking. Generally very heavy bass at the drop.

Obviously there is a lot more than just these examples. There are so many different subgenres but that is the general overview.
