K-Fed Help

Hey, I can generally get these on normal rails with ease, but just can't get it on my pvc rail in the backyard, heres a vid of whats happening, anyone have any reasons why I can't land it or what I can do differently? Thanks +k to anyone who offers advice, Thanks.

Set the back 2 with the front switch up and make sure you jump off the end, thats why you hit the rail with your ski in the video. You'll be gettin 'em in no time.

Ya keep it all in one motion and what helps me it to do it at the end of the rail so its very quick

The rail seems a bit short, it's not impossible to get a kfed in on a short rail, you just gotta set it a little differently. Set like a front 4-out, but do it early and basically tap the rail after 180 then keep your head looking over your shoulder (you stopped looking after the swap, you gotta keep turning your head to get all the way around), this isn't the best way to do Kfeds, but it's the best to get it done on short rails, generally I like to swap-slide-2out, that way when you wanna take it to a super-fed it's easier to set it and bring it around.

rail is a bit short... i would say get more speed but then u wont have time to switch up and set up for the 270 off. with my yard set up i have two pvc pipes one set lower than the other so thats where u switch up and have a whole rail to set up for a 270 out. if u have more pvc this is a good option. maybe then u can super fed :D

Ya, thanks alot dude, i'll try it like that tomorrow; and ya on a real rail I'll usually slide the 2 out but I jsut cant do it on my pvc rail, so ill ry keeping it all in one fluid motion and try the stuff you said about my head tomorrow, Thanks. +k

2 Things:

That last 270 is hard to put around because I'm guessing you're not used to throwing it like that. Practice hitting the rail turning 90 to the RIGHT then bs 270 out a few times to get the feeling in your muscles, then go for the k-fed like you were doing in the vid.

Hitting the end of the rail with your skis is really killing your spin- it's hard to not do. Just try to slide a little longer before you hop off and pick your legs up as much as possible. It may not look good at first but once you get it down you can throw style back into it

good luck! when I got this trick down other swup 270 combos came around really easily so keep working for it.
