Went to both midnight releases...Halo 4 release was full of college/late 20's guys and a surprising amount of women at the release and it was a blast had fun reminicing about halo 2 and 3 and playing the demo they had on display....so far I fucking love Halo its just fun to be blasting aliens as master cheif again.
Call of duty midnight release was literally embarassing too be there I went with my buddy as I was not buying the game but he wanted someone to come with so I said I'd go....it was seriously a line of 12 - 16 year olds with their parents talking about kill streaks and shit and how they capture their games and commentate on youtube....i'm like what the fuck is this community...CoD has become all little middle schoolers....then when we got to play the demo of the game before we could buy it, we started playing and my buddy turns to the best buy employee and asks if this is the first black ops...the employee looks at him stupid and says no this is black ops 2....my buddy drops the controller and says fuck this lets leave its the same game. so we left and went and played halo 4.
Obviously CoD is going to be the same thats what has made them rich if people buy it they will keep recycling and selling the same garbage...Call of Duty 4 was the best and always will be the best.
If you are looking for something refreshing that offers a great single player campagin (and you can co-op it obviously) and has a faster paced multiplayer than the first enstallments of halo...go for halo 4 its a breath of fresh air from call of duty we've all been playing in the absence of halo.
