Discuss; Buying Halo 4 or Black Ops 2

Well its that time again, when the nights get longer and there's usually nothing to do unless your partying or skiing during the day.

For those of you who dont already have Halo 4 and are contemplating that between BOPS I want to know your opinions.

I was thinking of buying both but id rather just get one, $120 is a shit ton to spend on games.

What are your thoughts NS?

Halo has a far superior physics engine, fun weapons, vehicles and headshots.

Black Ops 2..... reaction speed cod gameplay...

went to the 12 oclock unvieling of halo 4. it looks really good. but i dont know why i went considering i don't own an xbox or really play halo. i guess it was fun watching12-35 year olds appear from the basement for some fresh air

I just beat Halo 4 on legendary solo, and it was amazing. But I buy shooters for the multiplayer, and halos multiplayer is by far the best. Black ops 2 has zombies though which I do thoroughly enjoy.. but it gets gimmicky eventually and the halo experience is always rock solid in every aspect.

If I've never really played a Halo game for more than an hour would it be worth it to pick this one up? Not really too concerned about the story itself, just looking for a fun campaign and fun multiplayer and everyone seems to be raving about this so far.

Totally. Its like all the best parts of halo and cod combined online. But if there will defs be tons of fan boys who play alot of halo and find ways to kill you that never knew were possible. But defs go get it. NS post up you xblox live if your playing halo 4. mines TouchMySkittles

i was pretty good before i sold my xbox. 2.21 kd and no i didnt just sit and camp.

also fuck quick scopers a reason i quit that game.

haha damn dude that's a good k/d, mine is something above 1 in all the games, and I agree some quick scopers are fucking cheap they're so good... But i quickscope too <3

Last year was the best, private matches of like 20 NSers playing Mike Myers!

Are you implying that only young kids play Halo? Because Halo is an old(er) series which means most of the fans older as well. I know I got into not long after the first one came out. The little 9 year old kids are playing COD nowadays.

Halo 4!!!! I say Halo 4 is like a mix between COD and BF3, but it's still Halo. Halo took a lot of the good things that COD had.

Halo!

Honestly, when I played video games I did it for the story. Multiplayer was always just a perk and I think we can all agree Call Of Duty has the same campaign every single game. Halo 4 has an amazing campaign! I played part of it the other day at a friend's house and my mind was blown. A ton of new shit unlike COD which features a few new guns and some new perks. Halo all the way.

lol, i'd rape you online. if you get worked by quickscopers, good luck when we pick up an assault rifle--thats 10x easier then running around with a bolt action sniper

no no no, i didnt get worked over by quickscopers. maybe 1 or 2 deaths a game from them. just never saw the fun in running around like a chicken with yo head cut off.

i mean i rarely died more than 5 times a game

Halo is a great game. Just know that Bops 2 is going to be amazing. The decision should be made on your preference to previous games in the series
