Anyone have any tips on how to get your lazy roommates to clean and do their dishes? I live in a 4 person apartment and 1 of our roommates makes the whole place nasty. The more funny and humiliating the better.

Take every dirty dish he leaves in the sink/around the apartment and throw them in his bed. Tell him that you will do this every day until he learns to clean his shit up after he eats.

This is really the best option. But if that doesn't work put barbed wire in his pillow case.

We've talked to him about, we also have a big sign that says "DO THE DISHES," right above the sink. Neither of these have helped. We need something more extreme.

Meh, I'd relocate the mess to his bed. Talking to him might work to but it probably wont convey the same message.

I did that once. Put all the dishes infront of his door and wrote a note saying "Maybe if it inconveniences you you will fucking do something about it"
He was not happy and said that we dont need to talk through notes. But he did keep the sink clean and kept his dishes in his room after that... So it worked?

As childish as that is of him, your post is the same.
Grow up, man up and talk to him. Have a conversation, explain that he needs to clean up his shit or move out.
Really not that hard. If you like a clean place, best rule you can have is a clean your shit up right away policy. Nobody leaves dirty dishes in the sink. If you eat something, you wash everything and put it away right after.
Honestly this makes things much easier. Washing one thing isn't a big deal, it just sucks when you let it pile up. If you're lazy and let it pile up, and then other people do the same, shit gets nasty real quick.
If you spill something clean it up.
Idk, really the only way I can live with people. I'm not a neat freak by any means but it's really the only way to go with multiple people. It's about respect too. Other people have to live there so get off your ass and clean up your mess. Or GTFO
Problem solved. No need to humiliate anyone.

You missed the part where he said they've tried to talk to him about it, and other tactics have failed. But thanks for the long winded post it was so much fun to read :)

Well clearly he should have put that in the fucking op
Post a thread, leave out all the key information from the OP until you get mad that somebody has it all wrong since they don't have all the facts.
"We've talked to him about, we also have a big sign that says "DO THE DISHES," right above the sink. Neither of these have helped. We need something more extreme. "
Get rid of him?

Get everyone to do their dishes right after they use them for a week. Then take all the dishes that he must have left their and put them all in his bed.

My lack of info that I cleared up moments after I made the thread didn't warrant your outburst, but I do appreciate your response.

when he's sleeping, take a dirty spoon that he's left out, and jam it up his urethra. then he'll know what's really good.

Don't bother. I've been there and found that even if he listens it'll only be temporary, and after a couple weeks it'll be back to a mess. Just learn to live in a mess it's not that bad

outburst.
Considering how many thread on here pop up, photoshop my friend with dicks. Give me something that I can do to embarrass my roommate. Anyone have any creative idea to make my roommate hate life because I'm a douche bag and also lack creativity.
^ Seems to be a ton of those threads. Just sort of sounded like another one of those.
