Ok so this might have been discussed before, but is there a way to make it so you can edit/delete posts youve made? say you post something and spelling is wrong or you post in bst and forget pictures, is there anyway to go back and edit this post? tgr has this function but it's also a different formated forum, is that the reason?

if there is anyway with newschoolers format it would be a good perk i think.

thats the thing i dont think you can. and i have suspicions it might be to hard to implement, otherwise i bet they would have already.

Nope... editing of posts is actually pretty easy. Every time its been brought up though, it has gotten shot down by the community on large immediately.

People feel that its part of the charm of NS that once you post something you're committed to it.

I actually see the logic behind this... there is some gold on NS because you can't edit.

Of course, if enough people vote for edit buttons we can slap it on the list of improvements and implement.

I would like it for the Sell/Trade forum, that way you can update what you have left for sale without makin a new thread. But defffffinitely not for NSG

Ya if feel like sell trade would be a glorious place to have it. so i can just go back into the op and update whats sold and change prices and what not. instead of having to make a new thread/scrolling down to see if something is sold.

i dont quite follow the logic tho, if you post it you should have control.

Well for 1 thing not being able to edit makes for really funny threads where people have made mistakes. An also it [should] hold people accountable and responsible, which [should] result in less idiotic threads due to fear of fuck up

key right thur.

it works on tgr because they are as a community "generally" more evolved. it sounds like this wont happen though, i just wasnt sure what the logic behind not having this option was.

oh well.
