heyo. i'm going on my third season on a pair of one life's. They are definitely a unique ski. Simply put, i absolutely love them, even in the northeast. They can be super maneuverable if you need it, especially when it gets deep. They kill it when slashing, and they take me through some tight northeastern trees with clean lines. They can charge if you need that. Even though they're pretty stiff, the hinged rocker profile is what makes them seem otherwise.

When there's no freshness to find, they are still wicked fun. They're surprisingly skiable on hardpack. With a variance in the rotation you put into your turns, you can have either long gs turns or take tighter mogul lines.

durability is solid. the top sheet chips around the edges, but i've seen worse. and it's not bad if you're good at keeping your feet separated.

i could go on about 'em, feel free to ask something more specific.
i will say that after a long binge on my one life's, it can be refreshing to get back on a more 'normal' pair of sticks, but that's mainly when it hasn't snowed in a while. these things are unique, and i love 'em.

My review, I had them a few seasons back and loved them.
I found the ski incredibly versatile, held in the crud, floated and stomped in the pow, playful in on the cruisers, and not so hot in the ice (which ski isn't though)

Make sure you size yourself accordingly though, the ski runs shorter, so don't be afraid to go to the 189 if needed.

I skied a pair of 189's last winter they are a ton of fun in the deep snow,crud and anything soft. As soon as you hit hardpack or anything icy though it can get squirrely and is hard to hold an edge because of the massive rocker you only have maybe ~140cm of running surface.

I wouldn't necessarily recommend them for park riding? I took them in the park a couple times and it may have just been my pair but I got a couple edge cracks just from maybe half a dozen rails.

Otherwise though a super dope ski, I would still ride it if I hadn't picked up a pair of bent chetlers for a smoking deal.

i'd imagine that they'd feel a bit squirrelly. When these things are on hard pack you haven't got a whole lot of running surface, as others have mentioned. That makes 'em less stable than most if you don't land perfectly square. However, these things love to soar when you're off the hardpack. They've got great pop and turn a chowder field into a playground.

and my bet is that rails would destroy the skis. they don't seem to be built for that kind of beating. of course, they kill log rides! hope this helps.

he makes a good point on size, don't be afraid to get the 189, even if it's taller than anything you'd normally consider.

The edges are really really weak looking. And you'll gouge the base really easily on rocks. But otherwise they're amazing skis. I love mine.

Forester Meeks (go watch some vids) rides these skis for his daily park riding so there you go. He must go through like 2 a week tho haha. jk
