I'm doing a powerpoint about the history of freeskiing for a school project. Can Newschoolers help me out and give me some facts about freeskiing and how it came to be and the history? +K for facts!

talk about the legends obviously where have you been? you call yourself an nser? enough to post this pointless forum? or you should have atleast been more specific. CRJ and Sarah, both passed away skiing, freestyle skiing. talk about it.

Watch the K2 50 documentary and that should get you there. Also watch Degenerates and the Blizard of Ahhs.

2006ish....evolution of style begins
2007...tom wallisch superunknown drops...seriously, i know its become a joke, but this was the most groundbreaking single individuals edit to ever come out. the tricks, the style...add in that it was really the first huge VIRAL ski video and howwell it was marketed and how fast it spread, id rank it near Moseleys mute 3 in terms of influence on general ski population
2006-present...influence of NS
nowadays...flood of media and ease of accessibility to all freesking due to NS and FSer
