$800-$1200 a day I think, depends where you go. Overal it's still a rip off IMO, cat skiing is slightly better. Either way a lot of places don't take you on gnarly terrain because you could have a big group full of weak skiers or its a liability or some bs.

I did it in the kootenays for about a grand. I gotta tell you it was about 5 years ago now and I still look back on it as the best day of my life. Never been Cat skiing though.

Did it in Revy for $800 (one day), was definitely worth the money though. If you're on a "budget" I'd recommend doing catskiing. Did that as well for one day ($400) and we skied even better terrain compared to the heliskiing. Main difference is that being dropped from a heli is simply an experience that I'll never forget for the rest of my life.

Lol Breck and keystone aren even that great for big mountain compared to some of CO's other offerings (telluride/silverton).

I've been heli and cat skiing.  Both are tons of fun.

Both are expensive.  Cat can be found for less than heli.  Single day trips in helis are rare.  Most are multi-day trips.  Sometimes you can get on a heli for a standby rate.

I prefer cat skiing.  Cats can run in the fog, the wind, and when it's snowing.  Helis can't.

Not is BC, but Points North, in alaska has a 7 night all inclusive for $5,300

Putting money down on a heli trip is always a gamble...weather is such a big factor that you are betting a couple Gs on.

I went Heliskiing for about a week in BC and we only went out for about half the days.

Its crazy expensive, cat skiing will run you around $500 too. I've heard a lot of people say they enjoy cat skiing more because you get more skiing for your money and you can go out even if the weather's not good.

If you are serious about this here's some information on some of the operations in the Revelstoke/Golden area.

Great Canadian

their whole thing is 'no down days'. They can pretty much fly ever day in all kinds of weather.

CMH

they have like 7 or 8 different lodges around the Kootenays, they are the biggest and oldest heli operations. They offer many different packages including one where you pay for the vert that you ski.

Eagle Pass

They offer day trips close to Revelstoke if you don't have the time/money for a multi-day heli trip, although they don't have the same size of terrain as some of the other operations in the area.

Chatter Creek

They have the option for cat skiing as well as heli skiing, which can amount to less down days due to weather. I've also been told that they have punched cat roads in where other lodges wouldn't, allowing their cats to get higher than most.

I am putting these guys down because I've always wanted to check this zone out. Big mountains, beautiful location, pretty much in the middle of nowhere.

Pretty much, the options are endless. The companies above are just a few of many, even in this area alone. Do some research, find what works best for you and go for it. I've never been heli skiing, and don't plan on going in the foreseeable future, but have fun.

im assuming keystone, cat skiing theres pretty fun on a nice pow day, and if the dudes are legit they let you ride for free, otherwise its 5 bucks, not too bad.
