Skate helmet?

Alright guys this may have been answered already but i just want to make sure.... I have a triple 8 brainsaver skate helmet and was wondering if i could use it for skiing? I checked the website and it says that it just does not work for bicycles. The ski helmet looks almost exactly the same so i dont see why it wouldn't work. Spencer

My guess is that it would work, the main dif between ski/snowboard helmets and bmx/skating helmets is the earpads to keep your ears warm. If you can live without those then go for it!

Yeah, that helmet will be fine, I use a TSG BMX helmet for skiing and it's never let me down, normally the only difference is that they do not have ear pads so you will want to wear a beanie underneath!
