I just tried to update safari on my macbook pro i clicked install then an installation window popped up and said i needed to close safari in order for the update to finish so i closed safari and the window remains on my desktop and the update in the app store says 1 minuete remaining and it has been a day. Thanks for the help!

why wouldn't you turn off the computer and than turn it back on...

First off, stop using Safari, it's slow and insecure. Use Chrome or Firefox instead.

Than I don't know your issue. Download Firefox or chrome and u should be fine
