I managed to stumble across this album the other night and it is one of the best AOR melodic rock albums I have ever heard so i figured I would share.
It is a super groups album called Project Driver. Was never really intended to be big or promoted just musicians who like playing getting together and ripping. It features Tony Macalpine (One of the sickest metal guitarists out there), Tommy Aldridge (Drummer who you may know from bands like Pat Travers Band, Gary Moore, Ozzy Osbourne, Motörhead, Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy, Ted Nugent), Rudy Sarzo (bassists in bands like Quiet Riot, Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake, Geoff Tate's Queensryche, Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force, Dio, and Blue Oyster Cult.) and finally Rob Rock on vocals who is insane.
