Need HELP with Full Tilt Boots please take a look

hey so I've got these boots

I need to figure out if they're "soul" or "original".....heres a link to the ft site that determines it

Also; what do the tongues of the full tilt boots equate to in terms of flex?

ex. is flex 6=60 flex 10=100 etc? or is it different?.....here's the link to ft's site selling the tongues if it helps

Those are "original" mold.


As for the flex, there really isn't a way to equate the flex of FTs to other boots...some people say that #4 is like an 85/90 flex and #10 is like a 115/120 flex....I don't know if it's that easy cause the way Full Tilts flex is completely different from other boots.

thanks alot man, how can you tell they're original though? It's no that I don't trust you but if I'm gonna be ordering stuff because of what you said I just want to be certain I'm getting the right model

Because your boots are a few seasons old (falling under the "Previous" models) and the Soul Shell was just introduced.

It the FTs (soul) are the original boot just with the upgraded/removeable outsole, ie this years Wallisch Pro Boot. The tongues for the FTs and FTo I believe are the same but to be safe you do infact want to order the FTo.

The sole shell has the new rubber boot sole (like on the new TWall), the original is the boot shell that FT has been making since the beginning, those are I believe '08/'09 High Fives, which are for sure the original shell since the Influence was introduced in '10/'11 and the Sole was introduced in '12/'13.

alright great thanks.....one last thing though....I'm looking to get a boot board for the boots but the sizing is 293, 310, 318 etc all I know is that the boots are 26.5, how does that match up with the sizes in the hundreds?

26.5 is a 301 BSL (boot sole length), you can view a sizing chart on any of the "original" shell boots (Konflict, Level 1, Drop Kick, Classic) and that'll tell you the BSL for each boot. Unfortunately it appears that the active boot board for the 301 BSL is out of stock right now.

The flex doesn't convert to regular flex because its progressive but a 4 is about 90 and 10 is about 130
