Who would attend an unofficial east coast NS weekend ski and party

Here is the idea (open to change):
Looking to get a gathering of east coast NSers at the same mountain in one house for a party.
Do this like the TGR group buys if you all are familiar with them.
Everyone pays me ahead of time and I book the house/cabin and get the kegs/food etc.
Want to gauge SERIOUS interest. If you would be down to meet up at a house for the weekend or even a night post in a reply that you would seriously be down and how much you are realistically willing/able to pay. Looking to make it all inclusive so you pay X amount of dollars and I get the house/beer/food and if group purchase of lift tickets are possible for a discount. You just have to prepay and get yourself there.
IF I SUPPLY BEER IT WILL BE 21+ ONLY!!!
This is just to gauge interest and if I get enough serious interest, I will follow through with it.

Ideas:
Where should it go down?
When should it go down?
Anyone have a bigger house or cabin we could use for free?
Anyone work at a resort that could get a discount for a bulk lift ticket purchase? Free tickets?
Good skinning locations for the people here who actually go into the back/side country?
Post ideas etc.
I dont really want to take all responsibility for the deposit, so maybe build it into the fee and then refund it upon getting it back? Better idea for this?

This is a brainstorm/interest thread. I am willing to set it all up and get it together if enough can agree on a time and place and commit.

Again this is unofficial, so Newschoolers has nothing to do with it (unless they want to get involved).

I would certainly consider it. Could also carpool with anyone else from southeast PA.

February is a reliable snow month, just dodge the major ski holidays.

Middle Vermont somewhere would be good cause then you'd have a few options to ski. New york would be good too but let's be honest, the skiing would be better in VT.

Me and a friend would be down most likely:

mad river valley could be good if you're looking for back country, love the 21+ idea honestly, personally I try to avoid areas where people are drinking under 21...cant get arrested again (but thats a different story).  lat feb isnt a bad idea, week before or after presidents week maybe should be empty

I also dig the 21 +, I'm 31 and would really not like to feel like a crusty old dude hanging with a bunch of high school seniors. Even though I could easily pass for 22, hell 19 if I buy a fresh razor.

I'd second mad river valley but I think lodging is kinda stiff in that area isn't it??

I feel you man-not to mention I'm past my park rat days, Ill take woods and powder anyday, even ripping groomers, one of the reasons i love mrg and sb, I always though the valley was on the cheaper side though-not sure honestly?

Even better, somewhere in the Eastern Townships. beautiful scenery, could set up jibs out back, epic ski hills close by, cheap alcohol.

yeah i don't really want to deal with a bunch of 18 year olds puking, because its their first time drinking at a bar. so we need to have a drinking test before you can be accepted.

In quebec the 18 year olds are rock solid. That is what happens when your country is reasonable about the drinking age. :)

I mean if you can star in a hard core porno, you should be able to buy a budweiser.

I'm in on this if it goes down. 21+ for the party (because getting arrested sucks and its not our fault that your country is unreasonable about drinking) and then everyone meet at the hill the next/previous day.

Yea but theres catch 22 with that. Above 18 usually means youre in college aka going to bars/house parties, with the exception of kids who are 18 in highschool. Id be so down to go to the NS rager, to bad Im stuck in illinois.

what would we need to put on said drinking test?
I would say a first __% of 18-20 year olds to finish 10 beers and 5 shots in a 4 hour period win, if you puke within the 4 hours, you are disqualified.

Yeah that's pretty much what I had to drink when I saw the clap in Albany he had this dice game he made me play and you had to bet on shots he kept betting four shots and I kept losing. I think I had about 12 shots in 45 minutes. And fuck you clap

pfft. amateur. 10 shots and 2 beers in 30 minutes. I'm a skinny white boy and did that without throwing up. a beer, then 10 vodka shots in a row, then another beer maybe 15 minutes later.

Yea carpool would be cool. I'm on the eastern side of the state though, put your own crew together over there and we can meet up to make a NS convoy. I can take like three and myself, plenty of room in the back of the truck for skis and gear.

This will absolutely turn into a bunch of 18-19 year olds not handling alcohol and puking all over the place. Bein from Ohio I probably won't be able to make it. Anyone down to do this at 7springs? Cabins are relatively cheap if my memory serves me right.

Have it be in Killington or somewhere around there. It would be close enough to most people that it would be worth the drive. I am 17, turn 18 in March, so if that rule is really enforced i won't come. But if you guys would like to let it slide that'd be awsome. But this a sweet idea and if i can, i am in.
