post in tahoe regionals probably best chance for response
i have some friends going there, its a liberal arts college so its not really the direction i want to head. but if youre doing business, communications or something like that it seems like a rad place
ive also heard theyre the leading research group for high alpine lakes, which is pretty sick too
most my friends there are on the ski team doing that. in their eyes they want to be like team managers or something along those lines to stay in the industry
I just transferred here this year. If skiing is your priority and you appreciate what a small school and small town can offer then you will probably find that its a good fit. I came because I needed to put skiing first but wasn't willing to quit school entirely and I needed to be in a mountain environment. So far in that respect its been pretty sick. I can mountain bike and climb pretty much every day, and was able to ski seven days before halloween. I'm taking the pre reqs for the ODAL and ski business program so my classes aren't particularly exciting, but once this is over with the classes are pretty awesome.
I transferred from UBC which is a fantastic school academically but wasn't right for me. Some days SNC feels more like summer camp than school, but as long as you go to class and stay on top of the work you still feel like your getting the full college experience.
I would check it out some (majors offered) more and come visit before transferring,
definitely a nice change of pace coming from a major University.
I transferred this year and am really stoked on it, small classes, good people, on the lake.
Doesn't have a lot of the things that go with a big college though but if you've gotten that side of things already i would say switch it up and transfer.
