What would you do for this set up? Two identical jumps, one to airbag, one to perfect landing + coaches for learning new tricks. That's pretty sick. Royalty treatment right there; I'm pretty jealous.

My bad, from the other angle of it that I saw it looks like a double wackflip. From that angle looks like basically a lincoln to lincoln (ish) thing. Definitely not a rodeo, but either way - here's a girl going upside down twice on her own accord, and that was a vid of a Kaya, who probably makes a reasonable income from skiing, hyping the shit out of going upside down once, like she's Shaun White learning a triple shithead flip or something.

she actually almost looked like a dude on some of those off axis spins and misty's at the end there.. which is saying A LOT!!! sometimes a trick just get stuck in someones head.. backflips are common.. i don't blame her .. she spins better than half the guys on this forum, and now she has the steeziest girl misty's ive ever seen

deff looks lincolnish, just took dub rodeo out of the old NS news article about it. Regardless she threw a dub years ago...there wasnt much hype, sponsors weren't throwing money at her, building features for her etc...not getting the hype on Kayas first backie...Ive skied with kaya a few times when we both worked for salomon. I can vouch she deserves a sponsorship back flip or not. Just not getting the hype...if you were in her shoes would you not be a lil embarrassed to put this out there?

Look at what Red Bull spends their money on.. this falls exactly in line with their usual expenditures.

I really don't feel like crunching the numbers and getting all the factual content needed to back up my argument. If you think Red Bull cares about spending $10,000 on one of their athletes in a day for them to progress and become better in the sport that they sponsor them in, than you obviously don't have a grasp on Red Bull standards. This video isn't just to show that they're athlete is progressing, but how the company supports, treats and retains they're athletes.

I guess them giving away a ton of their product is a big waste of time and resources as well.

Simon Dumont wanted to cut up a half pipe. I guess that was a big waste of time, resources and money as well.

You weren't paying attention to brand image in marketing 101. Red Bull is one of the most concerned companies when it comes to how the public perceives them. Red Bull cares very much about what keeps their athletes on top of their respective games. They obviously saw that session as an ability to so do. Being on Red Bull has plenty of treats to retain their athletes, believe me. They don't need to show the the public any of that. I've said it before, and apparently I have to say it again, releasing the video is the only mistake redbull made here because of how it showed off girls skiing. Because they made girls skiing look bad, they made themselves look bad. If kaya was the first skier skier to land a blackflip, that video would have been the shit.

Simon's pipe took arguably the best pipe skier and unleashed him on (un)arguably the sickest pipe ever and let him work his magic. The cubed pipe is Red Bull at their pinnacle.

Don't compare these two things.
