When I was younger...I think like 7th grade, I got a spasm in my neck. Most excruciating few days of my life. For me, the initial extreme pain was gone in a few hours, but it took maybe about a week to fully heal.
Im ignorant on the subject. Ive always heard about them and people getting them and having to leave games (basketball, football). My friend got one during a sailing regatta and he had to resign. But ive gotten muscles spasm in different places all the time and they arnt bad at all. Definitely could play through it, do back spasms hurt?
Are you just getting spasms out of the blue or as a result of an injury. Last soccer season I threw out my back during a game (pulling the muscles in your lower back) and it was pretty excruciating because they started spasming and because those muscles are connected to your legs, I couldn't really walk without starting a fresh spasm wave. Getting off the field/into and out of the car was pretty challenging.
thats exactly what i had. its like right under my shoulder blade. im not really sure if it was from an injury because i fell earlier in the day. but i went to the doctor and got a muscle relaxant and stuff so it feels better but i have to work on tuesday so i just wanted to get a feel for recovery time because i definitely could not work right now
