Losing a wallet

whoever has done this knows how butthurt i am right now... all my ID was in there and like 60 bucks that a friend gave me to hold onto cause she didnt want to carry it around. i thought yea no problem never lose shit at partys (which is soooo bomb) and then what do ya know.. lost my motherfucking wallet.

you fucked up there....should have posted "don't even care about the money, but really need the wallet"

i lost my wallet in the back of a cab in a drunken blacked out stupor one night with like 200 bucks, all of my cards, ids, etc. to make matters worse, i was on vacation. called the cab company in the am and dude was all like "nah, i don't think anythings turned up, but ill talk to the drivers. ya know, even if someone did find it, we can't guarantee that everythings there" which i interpreted to mean yeah we have it, but aren't going to tell you because i snaked your 200 bucks. so i told him, dude, i don't even give a fuck about the money, i just really need all of the other shit that's in it. what do ya know, an hour later i get a call saying that it was found and turned in to the police dept.

chalk the money up as gone, and you've got a better chance of getting it back. if there's still money in it, then hook the person up. unfortunately, people are scum.

so true. i once got my purse stolen-- only cared about my keys. my house/car/mailbox/garage keys.

I would have settled for getting nothing back but my keys.

But alas, the worthless crooks left my broken car window and nothing else.

that fucking sucks. the worst part is they probably took the stuff worth money and just chucked the rest, i.e. your keys, in a garbage can somewhere.

I lost more expensive things.


One thing that kind of creeped me out was loosing my backpack off the roof in missouri this summer. All my clothes, hat pins, a little loot, and anything else I had for another month or alone on the road hitchiking was gone. It's kind of weird to think that there are probably hobo in st louis area rocking all my heady tour clothes now.

Oh well. Hope it went to good use. If I see a bum in wearing my nateva 2010 shirt I'm calling him the fuck out and getting that shit back.

I wanted the sirius north face jacket the winter it came out. at that time the top of the line sirius in black/grey was $499.00. I ordrered it through Nordstrom in my size, even though they didn't seel it they told me they could custom order anything North Face so I did it through them. It felt so badass to have the money and order the jacet new at the time (I had been used to inheriting stuff).  But....two weeks later, was at a local bar in my hometown, put it over a barstool to go to the bathroom, and came back to it gone. I died. I'm still dying to this day.

it's not so much about the expense as it is the inconvenience. it's such a pain in the fucking ass to have to cancel all of your cards, go to the dmv to get a new license, etc. and i don't know about where you live, but i HATE going to the dmv. i'd almost rather sit in jail, tbh. ok, that's a lie, but you get my point.

He just lost his id. That sucks but not a whole wallet full of cards and shit. I've lost my wallet a few times and gotten it back. Actually those and some of the more $$$ shit I've lost are some pretty decent stories but not for the internet.


I'll save them for the rides to mount snow with theclap$
