Selling Plasma?

I'm almost at the cash i need for some new powder skis, so I'm thinking of selling my plasma. Has anyone ever done this before? if so, is it worth it, whats it like?

I do every week. It's as simple as donating blood, and you can watch Netflix while you do it. Totally worth it.

i know a couple of junkies that do it to support their dope habit....

i also knew a kid in grad school who did it quite a bit...i think he got 50+ a week for it...

i use to do this when i was poor. Its an easy buck. My place paid 20 the 1st time in a week and 30 the 2nd. Later I found out ( from a personal friend that is a plasma "scientologist?" someone that works in the lab) that plasma is where you build antibodies, basically to keep your immune system healthy. You can deplenish them as you donate.


its true you regenerate plasma quickly but the antibodies dont replenish as quickly.

this is what i heard and inferred.

I got sick probably 2 months after donating ( everyday ) and was sick for 5 weeks. sucked balls

Blood plasma is actually pretty important. They use it as a fluid loader. FFP: Fresh, frozen, plasma.

My friend donated it before and they missed the vein putting the blood back in and his whole entire arm was swollen. He could lift or throw for about a week it hurt so bad.

I was getting paid 25 the first time in the week and 35 for the second, so $60 a week. Sperm would be a lot more enjoyable to donate though.

i looked into it but from what i found it sounds like more of a pain in the ass than actually worth the money. I would love to be able to say i sold my blood and semen to buy these skis though.

Despite the relatively high value of sperm, especially in countries with tightly-controlled sperm donation like Australia, there are a ton of hoops to jump through (a ton) and they lock you in for a looong time, plus you might end up fathering some crack ho baby who will think of you as daddy. So it's not like you beat off into a cup, they give you $50 and you waltz on your merry way.

Some people sell their used underwear and dirty socks on craigslist and ebay for mad cash to people who have weird fetishes and stuff. Like, they can sell for $10-100 per sock or whatever. Very surprising.

But you could probably sell your piss too though to the right person as long as you don't use drugs. Some people would be willing to pay a fair amount for clean piss for a drug test actually, so you aren't too far off.

No one wants your shit though.

well kind of, the company's that do it take i think 4% of people who apply. parents are looking for (usually) someone over 6 feet a Harvard graduate and a iq over 130. so if they see your profile and want to pick you then you get paid but good luck with that.



also do i get paid more for having o- blood?

lulz -- when you're infertile and have to go through IVF, it isn't cheap by any means. The chances of a crack ho getting impregnated through sperm donation is null.

You will get DIZZY as fuck. Hydrate yourself and eat a shit ton before you go donate. I passed out onetime after I donated. It sucked donkey dick. The pounding headaches and woozy feeling for 4 hours after wasn't really worth the 30 bucks. Unless I really needed to fill a prescription or needed money for something really important I wouldn't do it. It WEAKENS your immune system. I got spinal meningitis a couple weeks after I donated and was paralyzed for 8 months. I'm not sure if it was from donating or not, but my immune system was very weak because of donating. And I was a healthy as can be 21 year old. And funny thing I actually needed plasma transfusions while I was in the hospital to get better. I wonder if it was any of my plasma.
