Well, assuming Olympics is every four years and that unlike other disciplines, in freesking, you don't have to train 4 years for 3 slope and pipe runs. The level will naturally progress as it has always been and there's no reason Olympics will accelerate the process. Ok, participants in the olympics should and must take a serious training to be in optimum condition but it's not as if in our sport, you are gonna dedicate your life to Olympics.
In fact what will happend every four years happens already twice a year (Xgames/ Dewtour, without counting other "side"major contests).
So my point is that Olympics wont necessarily separate skiers in two categories more than it has up till today.
