I originally purchased this lens from a former CIA operative who had a passion for photography. He had in total 4 lenses just like this one, all in pristine condition, AI-s, and exquisitely preserved.
Built into the lens is a rotating filter ring, which contains 5 different filters, perfect for infrared and black and white film photography. Even if you shoot digital, they are still useful as color filters. They include: L1BC (skylight), Y48, Y52, O56 and R60.

Compatibility: Works with both full frame and crop sensor bodies, including seamless integration with modern, digital bodies.
Condition: This lens is in EX++/Mint- condition.
Front Element (Glass): In perfect condition: no scratches, no haze.
Caps: (Top and Bottom) Undamaged and in working order.
Carrying/Protective Case: In mint condition. The leather on most carrying cases is usually cracked due to age; this case is unusual because the leather is not cracked, the clasp turns smoothly, the strap shows no signs of wear and the inner felt padding is in mint condition.
Focus Ring: Rotates smoothly.
Aperture Ring: Rotates with crisp, clean clicks.
Filter Ring: Rotates easily, clicks well and stays in place.
Body: Very minor scratch – cosmetic only – will not affect image quality. This is the only wear I've been able to document on the entire lens. I attempted to photograph it, but could not focus close enough to see it without a macro lens on hand.
Painted Numbers and Lettering: Undamaged with crisp, clean notation.

This is an excellent lens, and I'm being honest when I say that it couldn't really be in better condition; this is the closest you will come to mint condition, the only thing that's missing is the box. This is a wonderful lens, so add it to your collection now!
