Ooh, this is true. Also, when people use the wrong form of "see", that irritates the fuck out of me. I hear that a lot in my area. "I seen him yesterday at the demos" (referring to the demolition derby in town). SMFH.

Starting an argument about this is useless because anyone with an english accent is going to say american accents are annoying, and vice versa... but yes most american accents are much more annoying than most english accents

what about sounds or feelings that make you cringe? for me a sound is somebody creasing paper, especially thick paper such as construction paper. a feeling is foam, i cant stand it, it gives me shivers.
