Life on Autopilot

Anyone else feel like their life is on autopilot. The same thing everyday. I practically know what I'm going to do at every hour for the next month. Sometimes the weekends are different, but they usually just consist of pre-gaming with friends and the bar crawl afterwards.

Kind of feel like 90% of other college students have the same autopilot going on.

Anyone else experience this? It can be kind of nice at times.

lol you are in college and you feel this way. My god wait till you graduate and you realize the rest of your fucking life is this way (depending on your job). I feel that way because I am at a very repetitive job. It sucks.

You are in college. Get off autopilot and go do something. Get out and try new things, play sports, go ski, go do ANYTHING.

I'm in high school, but I feel the same. The weekends mix things up, but the week days get pretty monotonous in my opinion. Wake up, sit through school, go to practice, go home, do the minimal amount of homework possible and waste a bunch of time, go to sleep, repeat.

i dont feel sympathy for you. You have free time to go do shit. A lot of college students, especially community college students are going to school full time, and working part time, or like me, also working full time...leaving practicly no time for anything but work and school. Fuck it...money is the motive.

No but srsly. Joined boxing this year. Getting ski club off the ground(89 people in 3 weeks and growing).

The damn weekdays just feel completely the same with class and practice. May have to start a fight club and create an alter-ego to run it.

Full time student in an engineering field.

20-25+ hours of work a week

15+ hours of intership a week

Doing all of the lab reports / homework / projects for my entire group in three different classes

Shit loads of homework

Still have time to do fun stuff.

There's always time for fun time.

Didn't ask for sympathy. I was fortunate to have college paid for by scholarships and help from parents so I did not have to work as much as most. I have friends who are like that and have no time.. But most people who complain and bitch about that "autopilot" have free time and just sit around and do nothing. OP might be different. But from my experiences with people they all just stay in their comfort zone and do nothing.

Money is the motivation but when you have nothing to do with the money it sucks.

Yep, I'm in the groove. Everything every day is all on a schedule. When weekly assignments are due, labs, etc. I know exactly when everything in my life is due and every day just seems to merge together. Days go by and I can't really remember anything unique that I did. I remember the materials from homework and lectures but other than that, there's not many significant events that tend to differentiate my days and keep them unique...

It can't start snowing soon enough...

Yeah i feel you, fourth and final semester at CC and its hardly different from the other three semesters. Especially doing the same drive to school over and over, but thanksgiving break is coming up relatively soon then winterbreak is around the corner. But just spice up your days anyway that you can, listen to different music, dont get the same coffee and sandwich everyday, hang out with different kids etc.
