Decent poles?

I'm looking for some decent poles that will hold up if they are banging off rails and such.  What are people using out there?  Any recommendations?

I ride 80% all-mountain hitting natural features and 20% park.  Current set-up: 2012 Volkl Bridges 179 (black, blue, yellow) & 2013 Salomon STH 14 Drivers (blue)

Cheap composite/graphite. I've used Rossi/Kerma (mostly Kerma Cobra) since 2005 and have broken two poles in that time.

Lost and found pole, juste get 2 similar pole, cut them and bmx grip.

Btw I use the same scott pole from 4 years ago, never break them. But I'm buying some joystick pep fujas pole for touring this year

Personally i love my Line pin poles from last year. They an all around sturdy pole with nice weight but the best part is the skinny grip which is one of the best ideas in skiing since twin tip skis. They are so comfortable to hold. After a season of 70% park skiing once of them somehow got a very ever so slight bend. It looks like it likely happened on the way to the mountain probably getting crushed under equipment but its barely even noticeable unless you look straight down the length of the pole.

Thanks for the input so far. I've been looking at some of the Line poles. What are the advantages/disadvantages of ergo grips vs. round grips? Anyone familiar with the Leki S-trigger system that can give pros/cons?

I've always had poles with at least a small amount of ergo. Still kind of wondering if its worth it to switch to round, or if I'd even notice a difference, when I still do the majority of my riding outside the park.

I'd much rather have aluminum poles that have been bent/etc 2000 times than stupid composite poles. Cause once they start breaking apart, they are done, and you get splinters n shit everywhere.

The s trigger is so you don't have to take the strap of your hand you can just attach and detach te strap to the pole while it stays on your wrist but ya I loved my line poles now rocking armada and love them better yet!

I've heard that Swix poles are pretty good, can anyone confirm this? They've of their version of the Grab Tab on them.

the Scott rental poles claim to be "s4" aluminum.. AKA the same aluminum as the team issue.  snag some, cut em, paint em, and re grip em... your own custom pole!

Steel rental poles. I have had two pairs since I started skiing... Bent the hell out of one pair and still rockin the other and I have been seriously skiing for 12 or so years

The Leki trigger system is mainly for racers, it allows you to get a more sturdy jump off the starting line. I personally would go with cheap poles, I have k2 automatics right now. They are cheap and sturdy so when I snap them I won't feel bad.

They have some past years Joystick poles on sale on Evo in the twenty dollar range.

I spent a total of 5 dollars on the two pairs of poles I currently own. Its amazing what you can do with some spray paint and by reusing nice grips from older poles.
