Wes Clark was my pick of the guys in the running, although Barack Obama would have been my selection. But you could have said the same thing about Bush in 2000... would you REALLY have preferred him over John McCain? I wouldn't have.
Jesus, I wish McCain had won that race now.

This from the supporter of a guy who has no political background at all? Pff... anyways, I said I'd be behind Obama. And he has even less government experience than Bush. However, I looked into his platform after the DNC, and I honestly think he's exactly what the White House needs at this point. Not sure how many people down south will vote for a black guy, though... Almost makes you wish it was a separate country.

^^ John Stewart kind of 'voided' himself w/ his comments on crossfire against the conservative and w/ the fact that he openly supports Kerry, kind of makes his show which is supposed to make fun of the whole process a little messed up

I dont think it does i am more or less conservative and i think the daily show is hillarious and the fact that Stewart has come out and supported Kerry is fine by me. I respect his right to pick a candidate that he feels worthy fine by me!!
Pete is currently sulking around Mt. Hood, shooting with Poor Boyz Productions and hitting on Kristi Leskinen. She hates guys, Pete lamented, so it’s not going good. Apparently Canada isn’t the only thing that’s tough for Pete to get into.

well for one thing, the daily show is a COMEDY show, it's not exactly binded by the laws of journalistic integrity (and it's still more respectable than most real news sources) and i still think they do a great job skewing both sides even though you know stewart's opinion.

Once again in this election as in the last we are given the choice of which candidate is the lesser of the two evils. This is very poor from both parties. McCain great candidate, never would have had the florida problems. Dean pretty good candidate but never would have stood a chance in winning an election. he didnt really have a clue just a very good speaker.
You will never see me vote a straight ticket dem or rep. i agree with reps on some issues and with dems on others. Isnt that what is great about our country we have the right to choose and make informed decisions.
The only reason kerry was the nominee... he disagrees with bush on key issues that split the voters. I am disgusted by the political parties on both sides for running things the way they do, but it is impossible to change because our constitution sets the election up so that it can truely only be a two party system which is especially sad because of all the corruption on both sides of that very fine line in the middle.

I'm just waiting to see if the day comes when the citizen's up the US stand up for their rights and disband the current governmental system. The citizens have the right to disband the government if they (the citizens) feel the goverment no longer represents the interests of the people or country. This is a fundamental right of a democracy, but yet so few people know about it.
In my honest opinion, there is so much wrong with the governmental system that the only way to correct it is to demolish it and start over. The current systems that we have in place are a perversion of the principles that founded the US and its governmental system.
