Ns since some of us are to lazy or old to collect candy I'm call on our younger members to be taxed 40-50% of their candy to provide to the disadvantaged. Remember with out the government side walks or streets there would be no Halloween. You didn't collect (build) that. Just asking those who have candy to pay a little bit more
Lol how did you get arrive at that point. I'm fully aware there are no democracies in the world and that we are a republic. I'm glade I put Obama's plan into something you can understand. It's understandable why your mad
i actually think that candy should be pooled and kids in lower income areas should receive the same amounts, most of you dont understand what its like to live in the hood and most people cant afford candy.
nahh they just go to other places. i can tell you this from what i have seen, their parents drive behind them and they go to houses in the nice part of town.
Yo bill You don't love me I thought all democrats loved illegal aliens. I'm on a yacht getting paid under the table and I'm about to be smuggled into a british isle with no visa. Maybe the democrats will give me free college, food stamps and welfare at the same time.
Lets take candy from those whos parents gave them two extra bags on top of the 100 houses that they visited's worth, and give some of it to the kids who weren't able to trick-or-treat because they were in the hospital, had their homes/neighborhoods effected by the hurricane, or can not get to a neighborhood to go. Sure there might be a few fat kids that want more candy, but for the most part, it's a good deed.
I could spin the conservative party using negative assumptions, stereotypes, and generalizations, using kids and trick-or-treating too. But OP will most likely miss the point and take it personally
What about the kids who got to go trick-or-treating, but then had to give all their candy to their siblings when they got home because diabetic kids can't eat candy on Halloween? I think they deserve something too.
My actual quote was "extra TAX savings due to Obama"
And then linked to an article explaining the Making Work Count and Payroll Tax Cuts in place under President Obama.
I don't understand the fear of the truth. Your taxes have been lower under Obama than under Bush. There is currently a plan to raise those taxes on those above $250k. I'm not there, will not be anytime soon, and don't care to pay more when I do if it means I pay a little less now.
Volvotom they call the tax cut the bush tax cuts for a reason. Obama wants to raise taxes on the rich and will increase taxes on the middle class with the health care mandate. He will do this when the bush tax cuts expire. To say Obama has lowered the taxs rates is bs the rebuplicans made him to increase the debt limit. So ns I expect my candy or else there will be penalties. If you refuse I will take all of your assets. Have a nice day signed the barack Obama of newschoolers Roor
ah yes, that wonderful age where you can't trick or treat anymore, but can't drive yourself to buy $2 of candy, and then get drunk.
What's nice now is that instead of dressing up and marching around the neighborhood for a few hours, I can grab a bag or two at the grocery store at my convenience. And i can get only what i want and not have to sort through the bullshit popcorn balls and crunch bars.
fujarom That would not be fair to illegal immigrants like my self who cannot afford gas, a car and the 2 dollars for a bag of candy since I spent all of my food stamps on cheep vodka :(
so today, Mitt Romney is being charged by the United Automobile Workers with violating the federal ethics in government law by improperly concealing his multi-million dollar windfall from the auto industry bailout.
This assumes that congress and the president will let the Bush tax cuts expire which many economists say will be disastrous and no politician will ever do to the middle class. Obama NEVER had a plan to let the Bush tax cuts expire on the middle class. Furthermore, you refuse to admit that Obama cut taxes in addition to the Bush tax cuts.
this but him being 15(im not 15 im 18 same shit) and not working a real job while having to pay for school rent and food he will never understand he will just judge.
Weird, apparently 7% of children don't get to go trick-or-treating every year... that's .8% below the current unemployment rate in the US.
The thing is, trick-or-treating isn't only about how much candy you get at the end. It's also about the experience of dressing up and spending time with family and friends, going door to door and just having a good time. We could just deliver candy to the 7% of kids, but that wouldn't really solve anything, it would just avoid the real problem, which is figuring out why these kids aren't going out onto the streets and trick-or-treating. There are multiple theories that exist today, experts have broken them down into a few key theories, each with it's own rhetoric, and all of which severely conflict each other causing endless arguments.
- The children's parents have far too much power, and won't allow them to go trick-or-treating, let alone leave the house. We should cut back on parent's responsibilities and powers, because kids should be allowed to eat as much candy as they want. Besides, the kids that are really good at trick-or-treating and get lots of candy will just trade and give out there candy to the others instead of hording it all (trickle-down-trick-or-treating).
- The children are lazy and inadequate, and choose not to go because they enjoy being rebellious and annoying, which means they don't deserve to be given any candy ever.
- The children's parents are all alcoholics, drug addicts, divorced, or all three, and it's too dangerous to go out at night in their neighborhoods. In order to get the kids out onto the streets the parents need to co-operate. They need to stop doing cocaine, binge drinking, and fighting in front of their children, they need to get stricter and clean up their life and educate themselves on good parenting skills. That will clean up the neighborhood. And then after all that is taken care of, the kids will be have the glorious opportunity to enjoy a little bit of candy every once and a while like everyone else!
