I'd vote indirectly.

My favorite candidate is Jill Stein, but a vote for her is a vote taken away from Barack Obama and helps Mitt Romney, which I won't do.

Therefore I'd vote for Gary Johnson. I think he's a better candidate than either major one, and a vote for him takes one away from Mitt Romney.

Gary Johnson, but then again my vote is counting for Vermont which is pretty much a guarantee for Obama...If my vote were to count in PA (home town) though id vote for Obama...too many morons in PA that actually think mitt is the right choice

Nate Silver has obama at 77% to take the electoral college and has him finishing with an average or 299 electoral votes. It will be close, but my money is on Bamz over Mittens.

I have heard so many different positions out of Mittens that I really do not know what he truly believes. If he wins he could be RomneyCare Mittens or he could be GOP Primary Mittens. I just do not know. Bamz exudes a coolness that at times I feel is mis-characterized as lack of empathy but speaks volumes as to his thought process of deliberately thinking through issues and not jumping to conclusions.

Furthermore, the economy definitely appears to be rebounding, obviously not as fast as we would like, but things are improving. Barring any major national crises (Israel bombing Iran??) I feel like the next 4 years will be a clear improvement over the previous 4 and whichever party is in power will milk it as evidence that their policies work. When in reality it is the logical fallacy "Post Hoc Ergo Propter Hoc": After it, therefore, because of it.

Donald trump I'm sure can get his hands on a lot of things and knows people that can get him information, I have a feeling he knows something that could change the election. He says he'll donate significantly more than 5 mill if Obama discloses the info.

but,

i think that at the next election, these 4 years will probably suck, so more people will be inclined to look for a 3rd party candidate, like johnson.

If you actually live in NY like your profile says, you can vote for whomever you want without worrying about indirectly helping Romney because NY is going Obama, period.

That being said, your reasoning is flawed. The reason a vote for Jill Stein would "take a vote away" from Obama is because it is presumed that people who vote for Jill Stein would vote for Obama if she weren't running. If you prefer Obama over Romney and vote for Gary Johnson, you are just as much "taking a vote" away from Obama as if you wrote in Tom Wallisch.

I voted Jill Stein because she was on the ballot, but I liked Rocky Anderson better. Obama will win though.

Agreed. In 2016, I am voting based solely commercials. Whichever candidate has the most commercials bashing your opponent instead of stating your views/stances on the issues at hand will not receive my vote and by default the opposing candidate will.

so today, Mitt Romney is being charged by the United Automobile Workers with violating the federal ethics in government law by improperly concealing his multi-million dollar windfall from the auto industry bailout. not that any republican except Mitt Romney cares.

two weeks ago, bain capital bought voting machines. not that a single republican cares.

but chances are his supporters are more politically, financially, and religiously motivated to vote than Obama's supporters are so i wouldn't really be surprised at all if he won. considering voter turnout in america hovers at around 50% every year and republicans are proving to the whole world that they actually do want their government to control their lives as long as they get a tax break (as if that'll happen), i really would not be surprised at all. voter turnout this year will probably break records. anyways i think everyone should start deciding whether or not they're gonna fight in world war 3, seeing as how Mitt already insulted half the planet and made (then took back) a bunch of comments about how he'd like to start a war or two.
