the chinese dude in OP wasnt raped, he could still sue? Sure he didnt know his wife had gone through surgery to look less-ugly, but you can hardly compare not knowing what someone looked like pre-surgery with being raped.

well first of all my plan I just wrote down to illustrate how fucking dumb I think this whole thing is, how can you even hate on your own child for not living up to your own standards of whats pretty or not? It wasnt supposed to be logical since I dont think anything in that story is.

i don't know. china is messed up that way. dude probably wants the money that comes from a bride price (form of dowry, but given to the bride) in china. depending on wealth from both sides, the money given to the daughters family could be close to 200k.
