of course. I read you say that there is nothing comparable to the n64. I assumed you meant in terms of awesomeness and then posted to prove you wrong. Never accused you of hating it, just pointing out your error.

The nintendo 64 was fucking legendary. But it doesn't even touch the absolute perfection of the snes. It took the nintendo and made it better in every possible way. It was the absolute peak in 2D gaming for 20 years, only in the last couple years has the 2d platformer possibly risen back to this level.

The N64 is great like the NES is great. It was a radical new concept, and changed videogaming, but it also came with quite a few flaws. The only difference is that the NES had the SNES to perfect those flaws. The N64 had the gamecube...

yup I can confirm you don't need it for ocarina of time. You need it for majoras mask but if you were on top of your shit you already got it with donkey kong 64.
