Yeah, I don't get how people can steal. I'd feel like shit if I stole something of that much value. I got my bike stolen and the kid has to pay $20 a month until he gets to $500 dollars. I lose a bike, and he gets off easy. Also, he's not even making the payments and the court system is doing nothing about it.

Sucks man. I hate how people are so accepting of it. Especially stealing from people. I don't steal but if you're broke I don't really care that much if you steal some food from a giant chain of supermarkets or something, whatever.

I just think it's fucked how people will steal from people they know even. Or people that steal skis. Like fuck, you just ruined somebody's season right there.

One kid I brought to mount snow a few years ago got his board stolen, couldn't afford another one, and doesn't even ride anymore.

that kind of shit makes me scared to have my boards and gear sitting in my closet. Im paranoid that im going to come back and they will be gone. would be pissed as hell and out about 2k and my season would be fucked. i might even cry.

This x100. Stealing from supermarkets etc I can kind of understand if you're properly broke, stealing from people is just so fucking out of order.

Seriously pissed me off so much. Made me want to go find the kids and fuck them up. He was 13, maybe 14 by then. I told some of the local kids from the park I worked at that if they were good and didn't do anything ridiculously stupid or annoying for a while I'd take them to mount snow for pay your age. The one kid had something wrong with his heart, I think he actually had a pacemaker put in. Had a surgery like a year before to get it fixed. He was always at the mountain, 4+ days a week with the night skiing. Then I took another run with the other kids at snow and he went to the lodge to warm up and for a little cause he was pretty tired and cold.

Came down after another run and then found him. Looked for his board for over an hour. Nothin. A bunch of peoples shit got jacked that day. Fucking sad seeing all these people looking for there shit and have it not be there. Awesome, some scumbag stole all these peoples shit and now fucked there seasons.

He dropped his wallet in 711, and was like fuck it I don't even care but I drove back and made him go look for it. I understand his position but I didn't want his day to get any shittier. Wallets are gone pretty quickly. Luckily it was still in one of the isles with all his money in it.

He came to the mountain once on skis, maybe twice. I worked there a whole season after that and nothin. He just stopped snowboarding completely and started getting fucked up all the time I guess.

Awesome. Took away a nice positive hobby and now last I knew he was getting into a little shit that people that age shouldn't be fucking with.

I bet the 100 bucks or whatever the scumbags sold that board for was totally worth it.



If anyone reads this and is one of the people that does shit like you FUCK YOU. If you have friends that do this shit tell them it's not cool. I mean, should anyone even have to tell you it's not cool? It's fucked regardless, but if you actually ski/snowboard yourself. You know that feeling when you break your only board/skis, or have it stolen. You can't ride, have to try to borrow somebody elses till you can save enough money and buy something else. Fuck that shit. I've had my boards stolen from the mountain, worst fucking feeling.

3 of my roomates just got their shit jacked. My computer was in my bedroom, theirs were in the living room so I got really lucky.

What is fucked is that I go to school in a really small town where stuff like that just doesnt happen. We were gone to a rugby game for an hour and didnt even think to lock our doors.
