How far do you live from home mountain?

How far do you guys live from your home mountain?

The closest mountain to my house is Mt. Hood and it's like 75 miles, which isn't too bad but it means I can usually only go up on the weekends because of school and work.

I have a slopeside condo. I can spit and hit the parking lot. It takes me longer to walk to the bar and main street (10 min) than it does to walk to the slopes (1 min)

i was just in amsterdam! that city is sick.

BUT, mine is about 2 hours. unless you go on weekends..

north county san diego to big bear.. wooo.. spring skiing all year round..

Bout 2.5 hours but thats including a half hour ferry ride across the water to get to Stevens Pass. And then 5 minutes from my condo when im at Big Sky MT.

15 min to COP a little hill inside calgary
1hour 15 to norquay which is okay
1 hour 30 to sunshine still not great
1 hour 45 to louise which is a great hill
3 hours to fernie which is awesome
3 hours to castle also awesome

I live 2 or 3 hours away from the two smallest and shittiest hills you can imagine.So I´d say my homemountain is just about 8 hours away.

About 1400km to my nearest hill.. or 869 Miles for you Yanks.

But after spending a season in Whistler, I'd say that is my true HOME mountain.. So I'd say about 7400miles.

From my house it is about an hour and a half to Schweitzer, my home mountain, but it is about 20 minutes from my cabin which is where I spend most of the winter.
