its a marketing tool that the ops guys use to get people to come ski our shitty rainy mountain. thats in washington though. i have no idea where this "washignton" you speak of is

exactly. the westside is all shit heavy snow and rain, and the eastside of the state is dry and hardly gets enough snow to sustain a season. stick to BC or tahoe if you want real skiing, not a fucking waste.
