Support a smaller brand and check out PimpHands. I am familiar with the company through Bloom. The guys over at PimpHands seem to be real nice guys who know what they are doing. They sent me two pairs of gloves and I wasn't sure what to expect.
The gloves arrived and I was really impressed with the product since I wasn't too familiar with the brand.
The mittens have a nice leather palm side. Additionally, there are finger separators within the mitten which is nice so your fingers don't get too sweaty. Also, the mittens come with a a wrist attachment so you can dangle your gloves of your wrist when you don't want to be wearing them. Super impressed with the product. Seems to be high quality product that will keep your hands warm.
The park gloves are nice and simple. They also feature a leather palm side, with a gun graphic on the backhand side so you can scare some elderly folks next time you're hitting urban. The glove also features a removable liner, which is nice once your gloves start smelling like a litterbox and you need to wash the liner.
Thought I would share this info because I know plenty of big mitten companies like Hestra, Swany, Dakine, etc. I'd say there are few existing small mitten brands. Support smaller business! I think smaller businesses tend to put more thought, care, and love into the design and production of their products considering that new, smaller businesses have to compete against companies with huge reputations and distribution.
