Replying to Going for the a triple backflip this season!
Pretty much wrecked myself the first few attempts I had in the backcountry last season. Got it, but took like 8 tries. This year I'm hoping I can land one on a park jump. I've got double backflips pretty much dialed and I'm not really scared anymore when trying them. Any advice for me? My worst fear is to fuck up the last rotation, cause I've broken my collarbone, dislocated my shoulder and had a broken shoulder blade on previous double backflip attempts. I'm thinking the last jump on the bigline in Breck (where Dane Tudor did the switch triple). Any better suggetions on jumps? When I've done a double on that jump I've pretty much been able to lay out my back on the last rotation and spot the landing comfortably, so I know I will have enough time for an extra rotation. The reason I've been wanting to do this is because I've never actually even heard of one beeing attempted in the park before. My real strategy is just to huck it and when I feel I'm exiting the last rotation, lay it out and try to spot. Thoughts?
