TM700 Render Help?

Hey guys, I recently got Pana TM700, and have filmed quite a bit with it.  I upload to YouTube (no Vimeo as of now) and use Sony Vegas Pro 10 to edit.  I was wondering what render settings I should use to get the best quality, because I've seen some videos, and this thing is a beast.  However, my videos are nowhere near beast-like.  Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks dude! One thing though, I film in 1080 60fps, so should I render with 60fps or the 29.976? Because the quality is great, but I still see a little ghosting/choppiness.

export 24 or 30, not 60.

What for? I have a feeling I've been exporting at 60 in the past and I didn't realise there was a negative to this.

most online players will automatically convert to 24 or 30 but 60p motion looks terrible

also 24/30 files are 1/2 the size of 60 very beneficial at 1080p

yeah having half the size would be useful. When you say 60p motion looks terrible do you mean when converted by online players? or do you mean straight on the computer?

like the online video player, you can see it on your computer too. its just rrally, really smooth like unrealistically its weird and sucks

Also in Vegas, make sure you disable resampling. If I remember correctly, right-click on the video clip in the timeline, click properties, then select Disable Resample. Or something along those lines. You may get ghosting otherwise.

Didn't really know what you meant by unrealistically smooth, but I saw a similar thread:

Just downloaded a comparison between 24 and 48fps(as they were saying the hobbit was going to be 48fps) and I thought I noticed some of it to be different, almost as if gravity looked like it had changed, but I figured I might just be trying to see it differently, and that I really can't notice a difference.

So even if my project is 60fps and my raw files are 60fps, I should render in 24/30?

Yes. I have found in Vegas, that it seems to utilize all of the frames better if you use a 60p project. The reason that you would want it to do that, is if you are slowing down a 60p shot 40% to 24p. Then when you export at 24p, it will export the slo mo stuff in 24p, and will drop frames in the 60p so that it all (slo mo and non slo mo shots) comes out in 24p.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
